The Full Story

Johns Creek Art and Frame opened as Abbotts Village Gallery when Abbotts Village was first built. The
original focus was as an Art Gallery that also performed custom framing. The shop’s purpose and focus
has been managed slightly differently over the years with changes in décor, organization, and modernizing
technology and tools.

The Abbotts Village Gallery became a Fastframe franchise store over 20 years ago thus adding a national
influence to the products, styles, and framing solutions. In 2005, John & Renee Bemont purchased the Fastframe store and they added their personal touch to the display and décor of the store as well as adding new equipment and technology like the computerized mat cutter. John loved sports and increased the
emphasis of the store in sports memorabilia.

Jim and Colleen Siman purchased the Fastframe store in February of 2011, emphasizing the variety of framing solutions and designs available to suit and complement customer’s various décors. Jim and Colleen selected a broad variety of vendors to give an excellent range of choices to customer framing requirements. They added their own touches to the store with art drawers and bins for completed framing and organization to handle the increased volume of customer needs. Jim and Colleen are retiring with fond memories of the 14 years working with customers to frame and display customer art and special memories.

Regina & John Brejda (sister and brother team) are honored to be trusted with the opportunity to continue grow custom framing and are excited to bring back art centered events, such as solo and small group exhibitions to Johns Creek. We love to work with our clients to help them realize their design dreams and elevate and protect their collectibles by sourcing materials from a large selection of top quality suppliers. We use real wood mouldings, acid free mats, and provide a variety of glass options. Johns Creek Art & Frame offers competitive pricing when compared to other framing options.

We're excited to showcase local and regional artists' original works of art in an intimate and inviting space and for the community to engage and meet these talented individuals through our art exhibitions and receptions which will be open to the public during our business hours and other scheduled special art-centered events.

We value our repeat customers and look forward to meeting new life-long clients. We have passion for art, design, and love for high caliber craftsmanship, and hands-on work. Connecting with people's personal stories, supporting working artists and assisting art collectors obtain their next conversation piece are what drive us to do what we love.

We've been thrilled to be welcomed into the Johns Creek community with open arms. We realize we have big shoes to fill, in those of Jim & Colleen Siman (former owners of FastFrame, 2011 - 2025) and John & Renee Bemont (former owners of Abbotts Village Gallery, 2004 - 2011). We can't wait to meet more of our neighbors and frame those special projects or collectibles.

You're likely to catch John Brejda singing along to whatever favorite song is on the radio. John also does custom leatherwork, so you might find him dabbling with another creative project of that sort - in between working on framing or installing art in the gallery

Regina Brejda has had a passion for art since her youth. Having received her Bachelors of Fine Arts from Augusta State University, the idea to create an inviting space for artists and art lovers to connect was formed during this time. A custom frame shop isn't just about selecting matboard and moulding; it's rooted in art, protecting precious keepsakes, preserving memories, and showcase artistic items utilizing individualized care and attention to detail. She is still a working artist, while owning and operating a custom frame shop, gallery, and art teaching space in Martinez, GA (4P Studios) since 2015. Her brother John trained as one of her custom framing experts at this location. Over the past 10 years, a goal of theirs has been to expand and establish another location in the North & Metro Atlanta area. John is now the managing partner of this new endeavor, where they will continue to provide quality and professional custom framing services and bring back art centered events to Abbotts Village Shopping Center, such as solo and small group exhibitions of local and regional artist's works.
